Background Story: 

Pounce once was just an ordinary wild elf (also know as a wood elf) till one day coming across a ring. Unknown to Pounce, the ring was the prison for one of the most ancient & powerful djinn's soul, who's body had been utterly destroyed & locked away for his crimes against all creation. The djinn's soul was to remain imprisoned in the ring till a pure soul finds the ring & wears it. 

Upon finding the ring, Pounce promptly fell in love with it's beauty because it was the most skillfully crafted piece of jewelry that he had ever laid eyes upon. He put the ring on & in doing so, being pure of soul, broke the seal to the prison shattering the ring into pieces that was like fractions of dust. The rings trapped soul immediately sprang forth & tried to possess Pounce & dominate his body unto it's own evil will, but Pounce being a pure soul didn't yeild to the evil spirit from the ring. Both fought in a maddening rage till both souls were nearly consumed, laying waste to the area around the body of Pounce, burning it to the ground leaving nothing but ashes. 

The spirit of the world, also known as Gaia, eyes became drawn to the conflict's disturbing energy pattern. Gaia weeped upon seeing the areas destruction. She could not determine to which of the souls the empty body belonged to, so she took the fragments left of the two souls & reforged them into one & placed it within the lifeless shell. Upon the new Pounce's ressurection, he breathed life back into the area that had been scarred & destoyed. Though he could not see the spirit of the world, he knew that he was to protect all life & wield the power of the elements at Gaia's bidding.

Is there anything we need to know about your Char?: At times He seems to be a fanatic that fights for what he believes is right, with that said, believes that the end always justifies the means. He's a heavy drinker, hearty eater & very earthly being that at times forgets about his being more than mortal & his powers.
